CNN interviews the family of child poet, Monica Anne Averhoff, about her short life and how the poetry she left behind will aid Indonesia’s orphans in wake of the Tsunami of December 26, 2004. "Tomorrow: Raising an Angel" is being released April 1, 2005 by Little Treasure Books. This book is a fascinating memoir of the 12 year life of Monica Anne Averhoff, intertwined with poetry she wrote at ten and eleven years of age. While living the last two years of her life in Indonesia, Monica had a vision of peace expressed through her poetry. Her words challenge us to live life to the fullest, and beckon us to take a closer look at the world around us, its beauty and pain, and enlighten us to understand the conditions that less fortunate children, the world over, struggle with every day. In memory of Monica and her insight into the world around us, this personal and heartfelt memoir will awaken you to the darkness of hate and, more importantly to the light of love.
